Cranberry Sauce Recipe
12-ounce fresh cranberries
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur
1 tsp fresh grated orange zest
juice from one half of a grated orange
Combine all in a sauce pan over medium heat, cook until done – very juicy, with tender, split cranberries. It’s kind of gelled like a hot runny jam. This way, any alcohol in the liqueur burns off leaving a nice orange flavor.
