Petra returns to work and appears aloof about motherhood. Meanwhile, Xo reaches out to an old beau of Alba's, but this displeases Alba because she believes the man is cursed; and Jane worries when she can't contact Rogelio, who's been kidnapped by Lola.
Petra will find it tough to accept the changes and manage accordingly. The birth of her newborn twins won’t change her mind. She is still determined about working and remains a professional woman. What more, she will have to deal with with Rafael, as both of them just reconciled. The spoilers further reveal that Rafael still has a soft corner for Jane but he can’t do anything about it because Jane is now back with Michael (Brett Dier) again.
Rafael, then again, cannot help himself from comparing Petra’s mothering skills with Jane’s in the upcoming episode.
Executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman shared with TV Line that for Petra handling these new changes of her life will be difficult. “Same as she had a much more difficult pregnancy, much more difficult birth [than Jane], she’s going to have a much more difficult initial dive into motherhood. And Petra’s version of what a mom looks like is different than Jane’s. She also has to reconcile that, and that’s OK.”
